Celebrating Ken's Life

On Saturday, July 22, 2006 a group of Ken's friends & family gathered at Cuesta Park In Mountain View and released  29 gold balloons in honor of Ken's 29th birthday.  Red balloons with stars were provided to the other Gold Star families in attendance so they could send wishes to their loved ones.

Thanks to Nadia, Dolores, Mary, Nick & Cindy, Ken's favorite Aunts Cathy & Michel and Ken's grandparents for being there.  Thanks to the Blue Star moms who were there, too.

It was one of the hottest days during the Summer of 2006 heatwave.  We had nearly 150 pounds of ice, but with no breeze, nothing helped beat the heat.
