Balloon Release

Celebrating Ken's Life

On Saturday, July 21, 2007 a group of Ken's friends & family gathered at Cuesta Park In Mountain View and released  30 gold balloons in honor of Ken's 30th birthday.  Red balloons with stars were provided to the other Gold Star families in attendance so they could send wishes to their loved ones.

Thanks to Dolores, Mary, Diane, Ken's favorite Aunts Cathy & Michel and Ken's grandparents for being there. 

Ken would have been 30 years old on this birthday.  Having the balloon release on his actual birthday made it especially difficult to be reminded that Ken was not at the party.
